Tasting Malaysia

(I had a bit of fun with photoshop.)
Our scrumptious chicken curry!

With a bit of chicken satay on the side.

And some beef satay for my carnivorous baby sister!

Washing it all down with some Teh Tarik.

We're Fancy 'Cause We Eat Toast That's French!

Yes, it's lunchtime and yes I made french toast for lunch. And no, I don't have any guilty feelings about it. French toast is that delicious little meal that I believe isn't just made for breakfast. It's for brunch, lunch, supper, dinner! Can you tell that I really like french toast?

Well I can't take any pictures because the camera is sadly out of town but here's the wonderful recipe that I used from Food Coma ( I love how she uses cream instead of milk! )

And The Bangs Emerge

I've taken quite a risk recently in the locks department. I've chopped my hair and gotten full bangs. I know, I know, "It's just hair." But that's just it. It's hair. On my head. Where everyone can see it. It's quite intimidating actually and I've yet to take a picture of myself. After researching for a bit, I've found that there are actually quite a few ways to style full bangs ( Shocking, I know) but I've yet to find one that makes me feel comfortable. Oh new haircut how you frighten me!

Knotted Up

Well here comes the self-initiated applause, my pastel bracelet is finally finished! And it only took me 6 days to get it done.

Fancy Some Dinner Or Some Fancy Dinner?

My darling sisters and I were left at the house today with a pie in the oven and an iffy looking dinner. Not about to eat a bad meal before pie we decided to tweak the already semi-cooked squid. The output was amazing to look at and absolutely delicious. Take a look!

Baking Apple Pie

What better way to celebrate the end of something than with pie? Cakes are too joyous, brownies are too relaxed and cookies just say "I really don't want to do this".  Pies are full of hard work and warmth. A pie isn't too exciting and not at all boring. It's in the middle. It's contentment. And contentment is just what I'm going for. Pictures up soon!
